Daily Surf Report - 12/4/2011

Shine on you crazy diamond, little shimmering waves are reeling unridden, cascading towards the shore. It is a beautiful glassy morning with little to no wind, fishermen are out, surfers on longboards and SUPs, and some pelicans enjoying their morning catch. It looks to be a promising surf day, albeit small, grab a longboard and hit it, conditions improving with the tide drop this morning. Air temp is 48 degrees and it is a sunny gorgeous morning.

Channel: Some fun looking lefts are rifling through the channel/groin with only a handful of people out. Looks like there are some fun rights on the seadrift side as well. Waves look to be in the knee to waist high range, butt slappers for sure. But there is a strong looking rip in the middle of the channel, propbably due to the large tide fluctuation from high to low today. Looks fun and worth gliding on a few of those nuggets.

Patch: Occasional wave in the double over barnacle range, one kayaker out enjoyin' blissful moments of respite from the work week.
