Daily Surf Report - 8/14/2010

Welcome to Lake Bolinas!! Our current conditions are overcast and drizzly, Pooh and Piglet were heard muttering, "Tut tut it looks like rain." But I'm hoping the sun peeks out like yesterday. Temps are mild and the wind calm. Ocean surface is very smooth and glassy but the surf is very small with the current low tide.

Surf in the Patch is currently flat with just a lonely rock sticking up out of the water. Could improve as the tide fills in. Will update later.
The Channel has small surf in the knee high size with no one out except a lonely kayaker way out there. Again, low tide not helping the surf at this time.
All in all the conditions are great if the swell shows up.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! I checked the surf for all of you this morning and was greeted by stacks of beer cans and plastic silverware and plates all over the ground at the beach, tsk tsk. PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.

Tides:
Low - 8:58 am 1.1'
High - 3:44 pm 6.3'
Low - 10:06 pm 0.6'

We are now open daily from 9am - 6pm for our summer hours through October. Come out to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.

Come by the shop to view our new inventory of boards and wetsuits. We just re-stocked the rack with everything from fishes to classic longboards. Check out our new run of clothing as well from Ando & Friends, HippyTree, Carve and Singlefin.
