Daily Surf Report - 8/12/2010

Our typical summer weather greets us again today with overcast, foggy and drizzly conditions, perfect for shooting a horror movie. Temps are mild and the wind calm. Ocean surface is very smooth but the surf is very small with the current low tide. Two surfers are out in the channel searching for some stoke, waves in the shin to knee high range, hopefully improving with the tide push. Sun has broken through in the mid afternoon most days.

Surf in the Patch is currently flat with just a lonely rock sticking up out of the water. Could improve as the tide fills in. Will update later.
The Channel has small surf in the knee high size with dos longboarders out. Again, low tide not helping the surf at this time.

Tides:
Low - 7:32 am -0.2'
High - 2:21 pm 6.1'
Low - 8:02 pm 1.0'

We are now open daily from 9am - 6pm for our summer hours through October. Come out to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.

Come by the shop to view our new inventory of boards and wetsuits. We just re-stocked the rack with everything from fishes to classic longboards. Check out our new run of clothing as well from Ando & Friends, HippyTree, Carve and Singlefin.
