Daily Surf Report - 12/23/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"Adventure without risk is Disneyland." - Douglas Coupland

A mix of mist and an emerging sun finds our village at 51 degrees and rising. Several dozen sliders taking advantage before the high waters turn the boat ramp into the Khyber Pass. Chest high and slightly steeper than the standard sliders this morning. All areas have room for improvement, so choose wisely today my friends, as offshore winds should provide both early AM and late afternoon vectors.

CHANNEL:  Currently solid and mildly consistent at waist-to-torso and holding. This will ebb and flow with the king tides as the morning rolls away. Watch the rips and mind the currents children, she is full sweetness and light, but can send you on quite a journey today.

PATCH: A mellow swell blazing through the patch, and more bodies in the line-up than in weeks previous, although that has more to do with the time of season than favorable conditions. As the waters pound the seawall, expect a washing out of rides and slides.

PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
