Daily Surf Report - 2/6/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“The world is but a canvas to the imagination.” - Henry David Thoreau

Scattered rain showers with periods of clearing skies.  Likely to be wet on and off most of the day.  Moderate SE winds and mostly messy conditions here today.  Little pieces and parts but no real swell activity - just NW windswell.  Sloppy overall but hasn't stopped the van full of guys from giving it a go and all had morning smiles.  Beats working.  Currently 48F and overcast.  Not raining now but will be later.  Doors are open but limited hours under these conditions.  Surfboard racks have been upgraded and we have plenty of great boards to peruse in the shop.  Good time to get something new now and surf later.  WHY wait?

CHANNEL:  Whitewater here and there and just a few corners that look thigh high and possibly, potentially rideable for those with nothing better to do today.  Needs less wind and more swell to really start working again.

PATCH:  Pieces and parts.  Almost waves and maybe knee high +.  Again for those that need to get wet the ocean is open to all.  Wash your crystals in the rain and polish them up tonight.
