daily Surf report - 2/3/2014

Closing early this evening but will re-open tomorrow morning at 10AM.

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“I am still learning." - Michelangelo

Good morning to all of you practitioners of hydrodynamic realities! Say, let's have a little sing-a-long this morning, shall we? "It's starting to feel a lot like winter--every-where-in-BO..." Yes, it's colder than the brass underpants of a well digger at 42 degrees this 'morn, but the sun is up and out sporting a pair of Foster Grant's as the birds are singing in the key of k.d. lang. Glorious morning to be sure but we could use quite a bit more of that precipitation from yesterday, so here's wishing, hoping and praying. There is a little bit of surf in town but not a whole lot to whistle 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' about.

CHANNEL:  With the lagoon playing "Push Me, Pull You" this morning it looks to be a waist (+) roller that sections like mad over the middle bar. The left is pretty messy, but way over at the Sea Drift side it looks like three (3) short boarders are making the best of that right that's breaking cleaner than it's counterpart on the left. Again, not the best of conditions with super short pulses between waves and all but something could be had. Four (4) humanoids total as I write this.

PATCH: Thigh to very occasional (lower) waist high slow pokes are slumping across the outside, middle and inside around the board biting rocks. Nothing really clean as Mary & Russ are sitting just beyond the Rock/Meeting Rock/Bulk Head and riding mostly straight-off, Adolph's until these lack-luster gems poop out towards the inside. Big boards and custodial gear would be the call here.... maybe a couple of No Doze and a shot of espresso to give the rides a "feel" of some zip.
