Daily Surf Report - 2/2/2014

Due to the weather, horrible surf conditions and Ground Hog's Day we will be closing early but will re-open tomorrow morning at 10AM.

Good morning surf enthusiasts and happy Ground hog's Day! It's a glorious rainy day here at the beach and I, for one am extremely happy about this. Sure its a chilly 47 degrees with an on-shore wind making the surf an absolute "Victory at Sea" unride-able crap-fest BUT WE HAVE RAIN! YEEEEW! One may SUP tour today or make an attempt at surfing in this washing machine (I certainly wouldn't) but I have the sneaking suspicion that a flat screen TV with loads of brew and piles of nachos are more in your future as a sporting event is about to unfold that has over 100 million people sucked into and anticipating the ancient blood-letting of steroid-infused millionaires as they collide with one-another over ego, insecurities and truckloads of money in a modern day Roman Coliseum spectacle.... yeah, you gotta' love Ground hog's Day.


CHANNEL:  Junk, crap, chunks, garbage, puke, basuda, jank, stank and a zillion other adjectives that can best describe the Channel today. Big on-shore winds, not much of a swell and this wonderful rain storm are making this spot an excellent example of doing something else, preferably indoors today.  

 

PATCH: Just like the above description only flatter.
