Daily Surf Report - 12/9/2013

It should come as no surprise that we will be closing early today. We will re-open tomorrow morning at 10AM.

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“When you can snatch the pebble from my hand then it will be time for you to leave.” - Master Po

GAAAAAAAA! G-g-good m-m-morning everyone in the new ice age! It's so cold at the beach today that I swear I just went past a snow man who was wearing a sweater and holding a cup of coffee and heard him say, "Screw this! I'm moving to Hawaii!" (It's 73 degrees in Lahaina right now...). Right now as of this writing it is 36 degrees and is supposed to warm up somewhere South of 50 degrees.... big whoop. According to the local weather records this will be the longest cold snap in the bay area since 1972. As for waves.... not much happening but if you have a deep sea wetsuit (perhaps a diving bell?) you could go for a paddle.... The empty parking lot speaks volumes.

CHANNEL: Ankle high croakers getting slapped around like it owes the outgoing lagoon money. Maybe later... maybe not.

PATCH: What can one say? It's flat, it's cold, it's sad... but hey! The sun is out!

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.
