Daily Surf Report - 12/6/2013

We are closing early today and opening tomorrow at 10am

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“Difficulties break some men but make others.” - Nelson Mandela

Another brisk but sunny morning with frosty white hills and black cattle grazing.  Dancing foxes got their winter coats groomed and ready and rabbits burrow for warmth and safety.  More record setting low temps and now 35F.  Light off-shore winds and nothing but sun in the sky.  May get some rain/snow mix tonite but today is beautiful so get out and enjoy.  Put that wetsuit on and do the hot dog dance, the wa-wa-tusi or the mashed potato today.  Snarf your coffee and donuts on the wall then join those that know and are in the know in the water.  Fading blend of windswell giving us small wave gear aficionados something worth a look.  Big big boards will yield rewards today.  Ask Santa for that new log if your quiver is thin.

CHANNEL: Peaks popping and fizzling not rocking or rolling.  Small knee high bumps that will let big logs in and keep all others on the outs.  That little Groin left and inside Channel right has got enough push that rides are happening.  You'll get frostbite toes and a sunburned nose today as weather conditions are marvelous for this time of year.  Get waves now then huddle with a warm drink later when the tide gets too high.  Mornings and evenings are the call if you pay attention to water levels.  Afternoon will be swamped out when the tide peaks.  1 solo surfer on it now.  3 looking and suiting up.  TGIF!

PATCH: Not much even for the dedicated.  Very small inside rights that are calf crunching and ankle breaking.  Water levels are low and exposed rocks litter your path.  Follow your dreams to a new reality and try the Channel early and revisit the Patch later for possible, potential improvement.  If you seek Serenity Now this could be your spot today as the lineup is empty like my brain.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.
