Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” - Viktor FranklCh-ch-chilly this morning. Crispy, crunchy goodness with first real frost upon us. Temps reaching down to 27F - now up to a comfortable 35F and expected to reach the mid 50s. Water temp remains at 52F. Very clear skies and full of sunshine. A beautiful Fall morning and you should soak up all the glory. Get outside and just look around. Put your crystals in your hand and hold them to the sky. Don't ask "WHY?". Mind the bare tootsies on the walk to the beach and enjoy the day to its full potential. Just localized windswell out there today but the small rollers I saw are worth riding.
CHANNEL: Smooth rollers on the inside Groin bar that are perfect for logging today. Size is only in the knee to thigh range but water levels are good and the wave is holding up and rolling towards the sand. Fun stuff on this crystal clear morning of sun and ice cold temps. A small wave observed on the deeper Channel bar that is also thigh high and runs left. Get your suit on and your big board out and ride the longboard waves to your heart's content. Incoming tide around noon may shut it down but now it is rideable. 2 in the water and 2 suiting up.
PATCH: Relatively flat with the just a somewhat occasional calf high inside right. Not enough swell and no direction to get this spot working today.
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
