Surf report 9-26-2010

Fogs burned off for the day. The swell has picked up, were seeing a bit of NW swell. 12:00 pm

Light fog over Bolinas this morning, but it is starting to burn off already . There is a high pressure system over the Bay Area with inland temps to be in the 80s - 90s - 100s through Wed. We should have light offshore winds this weekend and if you don't have A/C, the beach will be the place to be to cool off.

NW gulf swell is delivering only a small bump up in the surf today. There are 2 more swells behind this one expected to deliver surf through Tuesday.

We currently have small, smooth and glassy surf in town. The Channel has a nice left that is 1 - 2' and rolls along to the inside of the Groin. You can see the NW angle as the Mali-Bo right is working on the inside and the left can be turned back into a right as well. Everyone is on a longboard.

Patch is also about 1 - 2' high and today is breaking on the outside with all surfers on longboards. There are intermittent sets that are slightly bigger at both spots.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:
Low - 7:16 am 2.3'
High - 1:35 pm 5.7'
Low - 8:05 pm 0.4'
