Daily Surf Report - 9/24/2010

Sunshine and lots of it start the day today. Temps are already mild and warming up. There is a high pressure system settling in over the Bay Area with inland temps to be in the 80s - 90s - 100s through Wed. We should have light offshore winds this weekend and if you don't have A/C, the beach will be the place to be to cool off.

NW gulf swell from around 300+ degrees is showing on the buoys and will deliver surf late today and into the weekend. Currently the surf is glassy, smooth and small. The Channel has a nice left that is 1 - 2' and rolls along to the inside of the Groin. You can see the NW angle as the Mali-Bo right is working on the inside and the left can be turned back into a right as well. Everyone is on a longboard. Patch is also about 1 - 2' high and breaking on the inside only. There are intermittent sets that are slightly bigger at both spots.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:
Low - 6:17 am 1.6'
High - 12:39 pm 5.6'
Low - 6:51 pm 0.7'

We are now open daily from 9am - 6pm for our summer hours through October. Come out to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.
