Daily Surf Report - 9/19/2010

This morning we start the day with foggy, misty, overcast, drizzly conditions with warm temps and no wind. Not actually raining but the ground is wet and you will have your wipers on during the drive out. It is clear to the S and you can see across the bay to SF. Small patches of blue peeking out to the N. Sun came out yesterday around 4pm and it was nice and warm.

South swell is still in the water with surf at all spots in town. Overnite weather has caused a little chop / bump on the waves so it is not as smooth as yesterday but there is still surf to be had. The Patch has waves that are waist high. Sets are almost shoulder high and there is the occasional wave that connects all the way to the inside. Surf is breaking way outside, in the middle and inside as well. Most surfers are on longboards but there are a few hybrids water as well. Water temp is still warm!

The Channel still has rideable waves that are waist high +. There are lefts coming through and the Mali-Bo right is working as well. The sandbars are set up and there are some waves that will grind along all the way to the inside. Shortboards and longboards are in the water in the Channel. Seadrift has rights and lefts that are wasit high + high also.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
