Lean, clean and mean as the storm system has passed and the surf has cleaned up. Nice touch of Fall as temps dip to 49F with light fog upon the hilltops. No wind now and clear skies and sunshine greets the day. Peaks a popping this morning and there is something for everyone today as the NW swell cranks back up. Parking spots filling up and surfers frothing to get suits on. Not EPIC conditions but good / fun waves for longboards and mid-lengths. Lots of water and little beach as most sand has moved back into the ocean. A beautiful day to be outside partaking in the natural wonders we are given. Put a crystal in your pocket and explore the world today. Make new friends and keep a smile on your face.
CHANNEL: Multi-peaked rollers today with concentration on the Groin bar and a bit to the north as well. Peeling lets that approach waist high or better and can hold shape if you choose wisely. Lots of short rides with sections to navigate but the cleaner ones will connect and reel to the beach. Mid tides and higher all day so longboards are the better craft today. Eggs can and do work on the inside so pick your board and suit up.
PATCH: Plenty of Patch peaks from the storm and a NW swell drops in. Surfers spread out all over as the higher tide has it working in various spots this morning. Size will run waist high today and lots of rights worth the ride. Smooth surface as winds have died and the overnite clean up crew has things in order.
