Chill and chipper morning as temps dip to 52F yet the sun is out and skies are clear. No wind and an overall minty fresh feeling envelops the day. Outside activities should be a priority on the momentous Fall day and surfing can take place. NW swell remains in play yet dropping in size and easing off in energy. Still enough out there to get the glide going but please bring your longboard to have the right tool for the job.
CHANNEL: Smooth and groovy rollers coming through at a thigh high + size. Sectioning at times yet the good ones hold shape and allow for longer lefts past the Groin and towards the sand. Low tide was not too low so enough water to make dreams a reality. Seadrift not working as well today but there may be an unseen nook or cranny worth exploring. About 8-10 in the water as the morning is beautiful with sunshine upon us.
PATCH: Good tide levels but swell is dropping. Still some micro-sliders to work with and size is down to consistently knee high and soft. The SUP clean up crew is on it en masse and some loggers as well. Big boards will work and incoming tide will keep things covered up and workable on the inside. For now it is outside waves intermittently and a peaceful calm on the water during the lulls.
