Daily Surf Report - 9/7/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"Step with care and great tact ,and remember that life's a great balancing act." - Dr. Seuss

Swell is here, swell is here, swell is here. Beautiful rights and lefts are peeling through this morning as the sun is coming out and air temps are reaching for the mid 60s already. Not much wind to speak of and what there is, is offshore. A crowd is already out in force and parking is already passing the shop. Get here quick before parking goes extinct and the swell disappears!

CHANNEL: Comboing SW and NW swells are creating very workable waist high waves in front of the groin pole and in the middle channel. Not as much on Seadrift side, but stay tuned as the tide comes in a bit more. About 20 guys and gals on various watercraft out and about doing their things.

PATCH:  The spot to be this morning. Waist high waves are breaking way outside the meeting rock and effortlessly connecting to the inside Snags section. What seems to be about 50 logs out (maybe an exaggeration, but you get the point) all gliding their way into shore and paddling back out again. Whatever you decide to day, best make up your mind quick and get here.

PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
