Daily Surf Report - 9/4/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"It is not ignorance but knowledge which is the mother of wonder." - Joseph Wood Krutch

Grim and grizzly morning with a bit of S wind whipping fog in your face.  Still a day worth exploring opportunities for wonder and joy.  Don't look, just leap into the water today and find that happy wave to put a smile on your face.  Buoys starting to show new S swell that should be kicking in and a decent amount of NW windswell in play.  Winds putting that bumpy texture on things but there are surfers in the water and a few waves to ride.  Temp now 61F and sun is a mystery.  More surf is always on the way but you have only today to cherish.

CHANNEL: Textured rollers as the tide fills in.  Inside the Groin pole and in the Channel a pod of surfers reaps the benefits.  Thigh to waist high bumps that have enough push to get you towards shore but not much shape to work with.  Good water levels here and if winds go slack it should clean up and work well.

PATCH: Solitary surfer in the Patch working the rights at the Snags.  Not much action and size is thigh high but when you have it to yourself it can be special.  New S swell should turn on here the only question is when.
