Daily Surf Report - 10/24/2013

1:30pm UPDATE: Sun is out and the day is warm.  Surf continues to work.

Mild and grey morning with temp at 52F.  A bit of fog in town but high level and should burn off soon.  No wind and extremely glassy conditions - surfer's delight.  Still some swell in the water and things are trying their best to work well.  Steep S swell + NW windswell can combo up and produce some gems.  Hank B sizing up his plan of attack and he has options.  You too can get it if you really want it. Great day for beginners and barnacles alike.

 
CHANNEL:  Outside bar waves still working and going waist high and maybe a touch bigger on the better ones.  Smooth as glass and your longboard will love it.  Some are firing and some just grind along but all are rideable today.  Tide is mid-high all day so no swing and good water levels everywhere.  Occasional Groin bar lefts that are thigh high but will roll along towards the sand.  Inside shore dumpers for the swimming and bodysurfing set.  Why wait?  Try now.

PATCH:   Glassy, glassy, glassy.  Thigh to waist high and breaking outside on the sets and regularly on the inside Snags section.  Smooth and delicious for your logging pleasure.  If your board has 1 fin please surf here and enjoy.  1 NUPper out but should be joined shortly in the water but those in the know.
