Daily Surf Report - 2/3/2013

Do the Ice Capades start today?

Fairly clear and no wind today and an early morning temp of 46F. High pressure system remains in the area and we will have sun later in the day and warm temps through the weekend. Plenty of people out on the beach today and in the water. If you're not watching the World Series later there should be waves, so get wet.

CHANNEL: Pretty spread out but still a little hectic and crowded. People are surfing from Seadrift to the boat ramp. There are waves breaking in the waist to shoulder high range and there are lots of longboards, SUPs, kayaks, boogie boards and shortboards in the water. Grab your favorite stick and snag a few before they drop the puck.

PATCH: waist to chest high swell coming through, some will peak and burger and others will make a little go of it. You can ride a smaller board out there today, but a log is always a good call in the clam patch, to get you through the flats. Plenty of SUPs and longboarders out cleaning it up.

Massive Surfboard and SUP sale during the month of February. 20% off all NEW surfboards and SUPs in the racks. Now is the time to get your new stick!
