Daily Surf Report - 2/19/2013
2-Mile Surf Shop will be CLOSED today and will reopen on Wednesday at 10am.
Goodmorning wave sliders! It's currently 49 degrees and overcast here at the beach today. It's a bit glassy out and even a teeny bit of a bump is in the water, so in that true Bolinas fashion; the bigger the board...well, you know the rest.
Channel: Waist (+/-) sectioning and closing at the Groin Pole and the middle bar. However, Sea Drift is getting more attention than Bill O'Reilly at a Black Pather meeting with five (5) various wave craft in play. Meanwhile, back at the Groin Pole/Middle Bar, there is an occasional corner that can be gleened but that will require the right eye and timing. Timing is a tricky thing. If you know the story about Captain Cook then, like Cook you know all about bad timing. Three (3) longboards trying not to be eaten.
PATCH: Thigh-to-waist high slow-pokes that fizzle when they hit a hole. However, there is a left sputtering along at outside E.T.'s and of course there is a right to be obtained on the inside of the Clam Patch as well as the Snags where both are doing their best pushing a bit of juice. Be careful of the rocks. Eight (8) longboards and custodial equipment polishing that turd.
