Daily Surf Report - 8/25/2012

USED foamie surfboard sale!
We are selling off some of our USED foamie / beginner surfboards to make way for new inventory. Inventory going quick. Last 3 boards heading out the door today!

Foamie Surfboards provide the ultimate in fun and performance for beginner surfers by combining safety with state-of-the-art features.
Foamie boards are especially designed for surf schools and first timers as they are extra thick, wide and stable and are a safe and fun way to get started surfing and learn quickly and safely.

NOTE: Due to the high tides lately, we here at 2-Mile can't stress enough about being careful around the boat ramp when entering and exiting the water. Dings are no bueno on your board or on your person. Just use common sense. Thanks.

Fairly heavy marine layer out here this morning with moist air and wet ground. Winds are light and sideshore / onshore but not damaging things too much. Has been burning off by later morning and the days have been nice and warm into the evening. It's currently 54 degrees. Swell continues to drop but there are some rideable waves if you are patient. Dropping morning tide should improve conditions. Currently empty lineups with 3 unwrapping boards and putting on suits. Be the first in the water! Amaze and impress your friends!!

Big boards are still the best call for today and yes, it is an excellent beginner day.

Channel: Slightly textured and small with pieces of potential surf in the thigh high + size. Channel bar waves look best. Small but clean and rolling along towards the Groin. Longboards are required to make it work but switching tide could help clean it up and make it fun. Groin bar very small but could improve during the day. Bring the big board.

Patch: Mostly flat with the occasional right in the thigh high size. Long waits between potential waves and no one out here yet. Good for the SUP or kayak. Will update later if improvement occurs.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:

High: 7:50 am 4.1'

Low: 12:15 pm 2.8'

High: 6:42 pm 6.2'
