Daily Surf Report - 3/2/2012

Sunny skies and off shore winds. Currently 46F with another high pressure system moving in to the Bay Area and will deliver warm temps over the next few days. Waves are small but rideable today in both spots.

Channel: Sandbars are good and firm and when a wave comes from the right direction it breaks and is rideable going both left and right. Waves today have a nice shape and spray off the back. Size is consistently waist high and seems to have enough push to get a shorter board moving. About 12 in the water.

Patch: Cleaned up and smooth but small. Way outside waves are thigh high. Long lulls which look good for conversation breaks with you fellow surfer. About 8 longboards and SUPs in the water getting waves.

Through the looking glass!

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:

High: 5:55 am 5.3'
Low: 1:16 pm 0.6'
High: 8:45 pm 4.2'
