Daily Surf Report - 3/18/2012

WINDY. Clearing after storm conditions. Cool air temp of 45F. No rain and overcast skies currently. Moderate to heavy gusts of NW wind - which is a good thing and swell lines on the horizon. Close period storm swell with some little nuggets of joy spiraling through.

Channel: Tide is just now peaking. Short interval big wind swell and the channel is diggin' it. Post St Paddy's day surf is fun. Waves in the knee/waist to shoulder high range...with a few scattered head high bombers out there. Pretty thin and spread out line up out there. Definitely worth getting wet.

Patch: Scattered peaks with surf in the shin/knee/waist high size. High tide letting the storm swell into the Patch but not super clean. There are a few waves and rides to be had if you are in the right spot at the right time. No one out at the moment.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:
High: 9:18 am 5.6'
Low: 3:46 pm 0.1'
High: 10:43 pm 5.2'
