Daily Surf Report - 1/3/2012

And now for something completely different, or at least unexpected ~
Apparently there is more swell out there. Coming in at a weird angle. I didn’t see this coming last night. I thought today would be flat.
Both spots are rather consistent and packed. Conditions are ok, about 52 degrees, not much wind at all, and pretty foggy.

Channel: Bowly pop up peaks on the outer bar wrapping through at around chest high all the way to the inside, pretty clean.
Quite a bit of people on it already. NOT a good day for beginners.

Patch: Great for everyone today : ) Go here. There are peaks everywhere, and they are breaking in unusual places. The crowd is not that bad.
consistent waist high waves, maybe even more.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:
High: 5:17 am 5.5'
Low: 12:08 pm 1.6'
High: 6:10 pm 3.6'
