Daily Surf Report - 9/3/2011

8:00pm Update:
Closing Early - super skimboardable and way outside Patch waves. Also, congrats to Drew and Blair who won the first series of corn bag / hole toss 2 out of 3.

Come Sail Away with us today as you will hear lots from the band STYX in the shop.

Misty morning with light fog and some south winds. Temp is 56F but sun should show up later today. Still swell energy in the water but not as clean as yesterday.

Channel: Lefts off the Channel and Groin bars at waist to almost shoulder high. Waves are still kind of broad and sectioned but some will connect on the inside. Shorter boards are working inside but bigger boards are paddling today.

Patch: Scattered waves abound again. Rights and lefts way outside / middle and inside as well. About waist to chest high and still +. Longboards and SUPs are in the water outside catching waves all over the area. Small boards and handplanes work on the inside section.

TODAY - 9/3/2011 is our next Sunset Surfing Extravaganza! Shop will be open from 9am - 9pm. Come on out for a late night rental and enjoy the last weekend of summer. Vitamin Water will be at the shop with tons of drinks to keep you cool and stoked.
