Daily Surf Report - 6/6/2011

Closing at 2:30 today.

1:00 update: Light rain has started. Wind has picked up a bit. Light north west.Little south swell starting to show. waves in the Channel are 2 to 3 feet and waves in the Patch should be about 1 to 2 as the tide fills in.

We are expecting a larger south swell tomorrow. Could be 3 feet at 20 seconds by the afternoon.

Happy Monday,

Overcast skies this morning. There is little to no wind. The water is calm.

Channel: Breaking in the waist high range on the inside near the groin. About 3 people out.

Patch: Working just to the left of the patch. Breaking pretty far out in the waist high range. No one in this spot. Should improve a bit with the incoming tide.

We have new locally shaped SK8 Hand Planes in the shop made from recycled skateboards. Pair it with a set of Churchill fins and you will always have a smile on your face after your session. Each plane is unique and has individual signed artwork. Come by the shop and check them out. Makes a great gift for the surfer in the family.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
