Daily Surf Report - 3/26/2017

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Every human being is intended to have a character of their own; to be what no others are, and to do what no other can do." - William Ellery Channing

Overcast with early droplets from above.  Light and easing winds now from the NE with temps middling at 50F.  Expect a little sun and a light sprinkling of rain as that has been our norm.  A rather lively NW swell is roaming around with a bit of S windswell to keep everyone on their toes.  Burgeoning high tide threatens to swamp the scene so plan wisely and expect rapid changes.

CHANNEL:
Hefty helpings heaving along the corridor from the Channel across to Seadrift in the deeper waters.  Groin bar showing less energy but palatable lefts and nothing holding much in terms of lengthy rides.  Waist to chest and slightly above can be experienced or witnessed.  Incoming tide will soften as swell fades today.

PATCH:  Enough S windswell and NW fragments to lure a large tribe of loggers.  A bit wonky in shape but generally smooth with wave heights marginalized around thigh to waist.  A bit too much water causing some slosh and splash but enough enticement to suit up for a go.
