Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"It is impossible for people to learn what they think they already know." - Epictetus
New NW energy arrived as a late guest in the night but we see little morning evidence as it currently takes shelter and sleeps in. Tepid temps of 55F and very light NE winds have us primed for more but realizing less. Overcast skies with pockets of sun may remain but rains hold off for now. Smooth ocean surfaces barely disturbed with infrequent undulations.
CHANNEL: Periodic bursts of whitewater washings over reformed sandbars that want additional energy. Knee high crumblers are the norm with deeper Channel offerings for those really willing to wait. But, you never can tell.
PATCH: Minuscule movements of a right directional wave are detected and deflected by the longest of long logs. Pull out the long plank and settle in my friends. A good option today if you have no particular place to go.
PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
