Daily Surf Report - 12/18/2016

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"I spent a year in that town, one Sunday." - George Burns

As the first suited come steaming out of the waters not much swell is being observed here in Bolinas today. It's frigid times with minor lines with only a small NW swell to contend with. With the temperature dropping below freezing, be warned black ice has occurred. 53F in the deep blue sea and was 27F outside but now sits at a balmy 40F. As the day goes on the sun will make it just a little warmer and perhaps the surf will improve.

CHANNEL:  Less to be found as the fading swell has pulled a vanishing act. Size of your log will be in direct correlation with wave harvesting
as few waves are seen other than a janky shore break.

PATCH: Go explore and find your comfort zone for today as other spots might just be what you've been looking for.  No enticements offered here today.
