Daily Surf Report - 12/10/2016

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"The smallest deed is better than the greatest intention." - John Burroughs

Definitive deluge with a 99.9% chance of soakings.  Heavy stuff starts early and continues on.  Minor SE winds putting a lump on the bump as NW swells continue to prevail.  Outside temps hold steady at 56F while the ocean dips again and now reports 54F.  You're going to get wet anyway.

CHANNEL: Full tides deliver no rides as just too much water to allow for adequate fold-overs.  A few out front / boat ramp breakers have eyes on them but not many actual takers of chance so far.  Fair weather surfing is over for the moment.  This now requires more thought process and a committed undertaking.

PATCH:  Graced with some in general wind protection here we stare out over great expanses hoping to discern a rideable shape.  Occasional inside fare as water meets land has the hopeful leaning but not leaping this direction.

PACK IT IN.  PACK IT OUT.
