Daily Surf Report - 8/6/2016

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"The best way to predict the future is to create it." - Peter Drucker

Monumental day as boys become men and take big plunges.  The potential is unlimited, untapped and unknown yet full of boundless energy and joy.  The palpable excitement makes up for current morning surf conditions which can be considered lackluster in the present moment.  Swells from a wind-driven NW direction and a SW groundswell are still in play but have diminished overnight and have languid water levels upon which to contrive their motions.  Still opportunities to get wet and the tidal swing will change all aspects for the better.

CHANNEL: As the tide continues its plunge to low we are left with few prospects save for the bars directly in front of the boat ramp.  This mini bump continues to deliver lurching lefts though at a modest size relative to a human thigh.  Other areas suffer from the low water effects and are beaten into submission with a Dragon Sleeper Hold.  A small grouping of like minded individuals have made this zone their morning meeting space though more sitting than surfing has been observed.

PATCH:

No one can get at you
If you're caught on a wave
Fractured knees, calamities
Enfold me in serenity
