Daily Surf Report - 8/4/2016

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"
A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Coastally cloudy with layered skies.  Less general fog and temp chimes in at 56F to start the day.  Periods of sun are likely though not until the latter part of the day.  A deepening of thoughts and swell as both the SW and NW collaborators delve to deliver.  Though tides remain below low and will require hours of patience to return that is not stopping a resolved crew from suiting up and seeking stoke.

CHANNEL: Again we see an uncovered Groin and all its merits on full display.  NW windswell grasping to all sandbars in hopes of finding suitable depths upon which to unfurl some curls.  A stage is being set for an afternoon recital.

PATCH: All obligatory rocks exposed and exhibited as tide drops to its true low.  Precursor SW swell sentinels look to be attempting action.  Well beyond the meeting rock is where most bob and begin. Inside knee high no tide drainers look welcoming and dangerous at the same time.
