Daily Surf Report - 8/13/2015

Inspirational Quote Of The Day:
"Amazement awaits us at every corner." - James Broughton

Foundational fog and coastal overcast as the morning norm once again.  No sunlight breaking through and expectations run low.  Temp balmy at 64F and ripe with humidity.  A prescient calm binds the town and winds remain non-existent.  An oily surface upon which to bob and weave / hope and dream / as the tide fills in to adequate levels.  Tiny energy blobs are your only salvation today as rumbles and ripples are few in the making.

CHANNEL: Three amigos like our crystals above sharing stoke and joy on life in general.  A pushing tide buoys expectations though reality plays a significant role in lack of slides.  Though a left will appear and likely caused by only NW windswell, its volume triangulation remains low on all scales.  There is little to be had here and even less for those that don't make the effort.

PATCH:  A rocky outcropping gives solace and value to the landscape.  Devoid of water and surfers as well it is currently owned by tidal creatures and those soaring above in search of squishy morsels.  A whisper of SW swell is in the air though circumstances prevent it from showing.  A hike is in order, a surf not so much.

PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
