Daily Surf Report - 7/5/2015

Inspirational Crystal Quote Of The Day:
"I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity." - Edgar Allen Poe

A slick and slippery road brings you here today on this lovely July morning. Dark skies and wet air rule the day. Morning mist coming down a little harder than usual today keeping most campers indoors. With a current temp of 62F it feels muggy. Low tide just hit leaving the rocks out to get some air. Swells are not working all too well at the moment either. Looks like a great day to stay inland and keep warm though the afternoon vibes have been aligning positively.

CHANNEL: White water swirling resembles a washing machine. Sloshing around in the mess is a piece of driftwood that looks like it is not having the best of times. Not waves here due to low tide and stormy weather. The only proof of existence is seen by hungry pelicans protecting the Groin sign.  Approach with caution and reservation.

PATCH:  Rocks causing a bit of trouble as they take up the entirety of the patch. The only puddle of water more than waist deep is claimed by a few SUPs and logs. Choppy here still, nevertheless a small amount of brave souls accept the challenge. Knee high at best.  As tides advance so shall conditions.
