Daily Surf Report - 7/21/2015

Inspirational Quote Of The Day:
"Changes and progress very rarely are gifts from above. They come out of the struggles from below." -Noam Chomsky

We find an uncommon stillness and a damp 58 degrees as we rise and greet the day in someone's version of paradise. The theme of "stillness" will be the sole operational paradigm on this day, and should be noted, with extreme prejudice. Current conditions leave a slider's soul a bleak and fading gray. One yearns for better days only just passed.

CHANNEL:  What slight shape is observed at this early hour is only being enjoyed by a lone sea lion and a pair of brazen gulls. Though the possibility of a combination a gusty wind and steep sand bar providing some comfort exists, it seems improbable to the watcher's eye.

PATCH:  A quiet light reflects and dances hither and yon, as we search frantically for shape and shadow. The echoes of the abyss cross abandoned parking spaces and a distinct lack of activity. Strong tea and the collected works of Chesterton would be wise pursuits, unless your own constitution requires stronger drink and a less refined literature.

PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
