Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive -to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love." - Marcus Aurelius
The sun is out, but the fog is low this morning as the beach slowly rumbles. It seems to remind you of driving with your brights on through tule fog as the sun whites out the ocean trying it's best to break through. Not a bad morning to enjoy with a cup of coffee in one hand and a bagel in the other all bundled up in a hoodie as we await the fog to burn off and the surf to show itself. NW windswell is holding with small south swell seemingly pushing it's way in still as the air temp rises slowly from a crisp 55F. As for right now, it is difficult to say for certain how much of the swell is wrapping it's way in to little ol' Bolinas, but the tides are all positive and things should be shaping up for a fun day as a few weekend warriors are starting to paddle out.
CHANNEL: Surface conditions appear fairly glassy this morning as 2 logs paddle out. With the fog it is hard to say it is anything above thigh high. Expect similar conditions as yesterday with an update on surf later this morning as the sun peaks through.
PATCH: Clean this morning with a few little peelers reeling their way in this morning. About 3 logs paddling out and getting lost in the haze this morning. From what could be seen, a few ankle to knee high waves were rolling through on the sets, but once again, the fog clouds the line-up beyond certainty. Expect an update along with the channel later today as the fog burns off.
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.
