Daily Surf Report - 6/5/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.” - Marie Curie

June gloom but don't swoon.  Still got the morning overcasty conditions and moderate temp at 55F.  Fog usually keeps the winds down and they are not blowing this morning.  Still not any real swell in the water to speak of but we will take improvements in small doses and relish them in all their crystal glory.  Surf for the desperadoes today but there is always tomorrow.

CHANNEL:  Gurgling and burping along mini rollers in the Channel proper.  Not sure if they are surfable as the lineup is rightfully empty.  Looks thigh high and janky with not much shape or length to the potential ride.  Not windy though and that is a bonus.  Good day to shop for a a board as we filled the rack yesterday.

PATCH:  Yes to fishing.  No to surfing.  Maybe for canoes, kayaks and touring SUPs as well.  Flat conditions with a dropping tide.  Check back tomorrow.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.
