1:00pm UPDATE: The big yellow crystal in the sky has shown itself... rejoice.
Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“The power of imagination makes us infinite." - John Muir
Find your inner power and use your imagination today as we start not with sunshine but overcast and near drizzle. Inland temps are still expected to be high but it may take a while for the sun to burn through here today. The tide has just hit low and is currently slack. Staring the long journey back in and up towards the afternoon high. It will take a few hours but the incoming tide and more water is just the ticket to get the wave machine back in working order. A peaceful and quiet morning with plenty of opportunity to get out in the fresh air and ocean today.
CHANNEL: Knee-to-thigh high at best as the tide hits low and sand exposes. About 1' of water under you but it will start to fill in soon. A big board and some good paddling will get you waves - albeit small. Where there is a will there is a way and the way is left today. SUPs/NUPs and a few surfers making the effort now.
PATCH: Needs more water but there is a bit of S swell in the water and even though there are long lulls the Patch is showing signs of surf. Small rights in the thigh high size when they finally arrive. Have some patience and time on your hands. Get some waves then go watch football. It is Sunday so relax and enjoy.
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
TIDES:
LOW: 7:31 am 1.4'
HIGH: 2:08 pm 5.9'
LOW: 8:13 pm 0.7'
