Daily Surf Report - 12/28/2012

Early morning sunrise and glassy conditions. Now a bit overcast with light ENE winds and starting to drizzle. Mixed and jumbled at times with incoming tide starting to make its presence felt. Fading NW swell but still energy out there at times. Current temp is 44F. It is dry now but rain is predicted tonight. There is some surf out there so get on it and ride some waves.

MATUSE wetsuit year-end sale. 25% off all wetsuits for men and women. All the details are HERE

CHANNEL: Warbly at times with high tide and boat wakes causing bumps all over. Most waves are sectiony but a few hold up for long rides. Rights in the Channel going waist high and a few lefts at the Groin that are smooth. Tide is right for Mali-Bo now and that may be the best call as things peak. Good amount of water coming in so be prepared to do a bit of paddling to hold position and paddle through the Channel as well. A morning crew of about 8-10 in the water.

PATCH: No takers yet but a few waves here as conditions clean up. Better than it has been but not special. Afternoon session as tide heads out is the call and was the spot yesterday. Size looks to be almost waist high.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!!
