Daily Surf Report - 12/12/2012

Happy Twelve Twelve Twelve everyone! It's off-and-on sun/rain this morning here at the beach and it feels about as warm as a fire hydrant on a Buffalo, NY winter's day at 47 degrees. Once again a HUGE tide drowning out any possibilities for some surfboard ridin' fun. Again, I will trod down to the water's edge a bit later in the day and give it a gander. So, be sure to check back for further details. (Note: If there is no update that would mean that there is no change in conditions).

ALSO: With this high tide comes a lot of flotsom (wood, poles, planks, debris floating in the water) that you can get injured from. So, be mindful when entering and exiting the water. Keep your eyes open and your head on a swivel.

CHANNEL: Like geese farts on a muggy day. Not pleasant. Too much H2O and not enough sand bar to produce anything to ride upon. Perhaps later in the day with this radical mood swing tide.

PATCH: You can't fault this place for trying but as we all know; High tide in the Patch = No dice for a wave. With this tide change later in the day this spot may start popping like gun fire in South Central.

We still have a few open spots in our next Intermediate Surf Clinic happening on Saturday 12/15/2012. All the details are HERE and signups are online through our schedule.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!!
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
