Daily Surf Report - 11/25/2011

Wake up from your tryptophan induced coma and get out of bed. It is a surfing and shopping day today in case you haven't heard. Lots of tidal swings this time of year so be prepared for shorepound on the seawall and up the boat ramp through the late morning - good for getting you and your board smashed to bits. Then a big negative tide drop in the evening - good for rock and shell picking and treasure hunting on the exposed areas.

Patchy overcast and misty/moist air. No rain, temp 52F and light winds from the S/SW. Ocean can be smooth at times and the swell in the water from the North is packing a little energy.

Channel: Shortboardable / fish-able in the Channel on the deeper bar. When it hits right, there are lefts almost shoulder high and rights to be had as well. Inner Groin bar is a bit softer with the filling tide but definitely longboardable and waist high + with long lefts to be ridden.

Patch: Working again and waist high waves are pushing through. High tide letting water in and there are longboards, kayaks and SUPs catching mostly rights.
