Daily Surf Report - 11/19/2011

9:30 am Update:
Improving surf conditions with outgoing tide. Shortboardable in the Channel with size in waist / chest / shoulder on the sets. Lots of people in the water at both spots. Full on sunshine and nice weather. Fun surf day.

Blue skies with sun coming up over the Marin hills. Very light offshore breeze. Chilly air with a current temp is 37F - hello Fall. Steep NW swell giving us a few waves to ride.

Channel: Thigh to waist high waves breaking in the Channel. More consistent than earlier in the week and the lefts are lining up a bit for some longer rides. About 10 in the water with more suiting up. Longboards working best but a few shorter boards on the inner Groin bar.

Patch: Knee to thigh high rights breaking about midway out. An improvement from earlier in the week. Small and soft but good for big logs and beginners. 3 surfers, 1 kayak and an SUP out.

If you are looking for a great gift for a loved one or yourself then check our board rack. We just re-stocked with 15 new boards this week. Also, hooded wetsuits, booties and gloves are fully stocked so now is a great time to shop for the holidays.
