Daily Surf Report - 6/17/2010

Beautiful sunny morning with light winds blowing a little side-shore. Temps are already warming up and the weather will be nice.

The Patch, Boat Ramp and Channel has has surf in the knee high + range that will improve as the tide fills in. Little texture on the water, mostly glassy. Bring that longboard and cruise.

We are now open daily from 9am - 6pm for our summer hours through October. Come by to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.

Come by the shop to check our new inventory of boards and wetsuits. If you are looking for a fish or longboard for summer we have a nice selection. We also have our new run of clothing from Ando & Friends, HippyTree,Carve and Singlefin.

Upcoming Event:
The 2010 Shore to Shore Paddle race from Brighton Beach/Bolinas to Stinson Beach Park is coming up on Saturday June 19th. Race begins in Bolinas at 8:30am and will continue for approx. 2-3 hours or until all are back on shore. Then a beach-style lunch with fish tacos-beverages-barbecued oysters, awards celebrations and festive times with tall tales . On Sunday, June 20th (father's day) will be a coastal beach cleanup @ Stinson Beach Park @ 10:00am and a surfer swap meet @ Livewater surf shop. All proceeds benefit the Stinson Beach Jr. Lifeguards and Surfrider Foundation.

Sunday, 6/20/2010 is International Surf Day. Come on out to the beach and catch some waves!!
