Daily Surf Report - 1/13/2017

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase." - Martin Luther King. Jr.

Sunshine with impending warmth is a welcome sight for wet eyes.  Clear and blue at 36F with light to nil E winds.  Glorious start to the day and happy to finally be drying out.  Still experiencing the trickle down effect with seeping hills and weeping trees.  Roads are open and the primrose path is paved to the ocean.  Residual W swell backed with elements from the S are conspiring to convey a confluence of waves.  The ocean is finally smooth and welcoming to all.  Mind the tide swings from late morning into the evening as 9' of water will be changing hands.

CHANNEL: Fighting for purchase upon indiscriminate bars as we patiently wait for a settled countenance.  High tide flow has the Groin wall submerged but it may be too much water coupled with not enough actual swell.  Not a well attended destination currently

PATCH: Here the siren's call is loud and clear with loggers languishing at the far reaches.  Insider trading shows rights with positive intentions but no investorsMore tide coming and softening the surf.  Participation high but well spaced considering the venue.
