Daily Surf Report - 11/6/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"One finds limits by pushing them." - Herbert Simon

Spectacularly beautiful and sunny morning.  Windless and 61F with warmth on the horizon.  Expect greatness today.  Plenty of opportunity for outside adventures with surfing being relatively low on the list today.  Meager NW swell and nothing doing from the S region today.  Full tide and still pushing even higher has eliminated the beach and swamped out both spots this morning.  The day couldn't get any nicer but you will have to find something other than surfing to get your water fix today.

CHANNEL:  Pelican Festival with 4 dominating the area.  Lots of diving and bobbing being witnessed on a weakly undulating ocean surface.  The rarely seen breaking roller is knee high and disappears quickly into the deeper water. Empty lineup and limited beach.

PATCH:  Prognosis Negative as high tide has completely taken over the area and there is very little beach access to the Patch and even less to surf.  Nothing doing here except backwash off the graffiti wall.  That wave is knee high and if it doesn't smash you incoming then ride it outgoing!  Otherwise - Try wait.
