Daily Surf Report - 3/6/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.” - Epicurus Greek Philosopher

Overnite rain but clear and calm this morning.  Currently 55F, overcast with a few patches of blue sky.  A bit of swell out there today - a bit jumble but lines to watch and waves to ride on a longboard. Combo swell out there but really low tide with tons of beach exposed just now.  If weather stays calm we should see some increase in surf throughout the day.  Kill some time and give it a check in a few hours.  Find your magic wave today.

CHANNEL:  Super low tide has sandbars exposed and needing more water to get working for surf.  1 shortboarder bobbing around in the waist high water but not catching any waves which are sloppy and small.  Give it more time for tidal change and this spot may deliver.  Now - not.

PATCH:  Way downtown and way outside there are waves.  Looks to go waist high and there are a few surfers out there now well past the meeting rock..  It's shifty but rideable and lefts and rights can be had.  More water will help clean it up but for now it can be surfed - to a degree.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.
