Daily Surf Report - 3/5/2014

We are closed on Wednesdays through the month of March. We will re-open tomorrow at 10AM

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“If you're not going to go all the way then why go at all?" - Logan Bernard Frazier

Good morning to all of you practitioners of the slide. It's overcast with a wind just starting to pick up. Rain is due later today and yes, that is good. It's 57 degrees out and the birds are staying home and so is the sun. One word today; Umbrella. There is a bit of some swell out there, albeit a tad mixed and the tide is coming up.
It's your call.

CHANNEL:  Waist (+) with nothing too great to report as it's all sloppy and choppy. The line up says it all...empty.

PATCH:  Waist high stuff waaaaaay outside past the Rock/Meeting Rock/Bulk Head. Some go left, some go right and some don't go at all. It can be a good exercise session... or not. About four (4) there now with a proverbial Jamboree of logs, Janitor boards and even Bill on his wave ski.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.

TIDES:

LOW: 8:22 am 0.5'

HIGH: 3:00 pm 4.7'

LOW: 8:18 pm 1.7'

WINTER HOURS are now in effect. We are now open daily from 10am - 5pm from NOVEMBER through APRIL.

Come out to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards, and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.

Lots of NEW and USED boards are in the racks so come check it out. Full wetsuits, 3 and 5mm booties, hoods and gloves are in stock as well. If you are in need of a new suit or board now is a great time to shop. We have all the gear for your cold water surfing need.
