Daily Surf Report - 6/6/2013

Now rocking our SUMMER HOURS and open daily from 9am - 6pm.

Comforting conditions with a little foggy blanket, no wind and a good morning temp of 55F.  More surfers than waves currently as everyone is frothing for the coming S swell.  Good long period buoy numbers in Southern CA but not up here yet.  It's coming - but maybe not until Friday.  Still something out there to ride and the morning low tide is filling in right now.

CHANNEL: Smooth and glassy little lefts on the middle bar and well on over to the Groin Pole.  Size only running about knee to thigh but rideable none-the-less.  Seadrift exploration will yield some rights worth riding but everything is longboard necessary at this point.  About 12 rabid riders on it.

PATCH: Starting to work a bit.  More water is helping and way outside past the exposed meeting rock some thigh high + rollers are appearing.  South swells have long lulls and since it isn't fully here yet a more consistent bet is mid-way and inside at the Snags as the incoming is giving that little push.  12-15 surfers and SUPs here.  Stay tuned for better stuff later in the week.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
