Daily Surf Report - 4/9/2013

Good morning all it's so good to be back! It's another wonderful day here at the beach as it's sunny with a mild temperature coming in at about 51 degrees. There is a bit of texture on the water's surface  but nothing to get your chones (pronounced: Cho-Nays) in a bunch about. The surf is a bit meager today but a huge board or an SUP may do the trick.

CHANNEL: Breaking at waist high (maximum) over the outside middle bar towards the Sea Drift side. Mostly section-y and as the tide is filling in more than Val Kilmer at an All-You-Can-Eat buffet table the recent swell is dissipating a bit as well but with the right gear (i.e. HUGE board) one may find a cornius on which to glide! Two (2) on longboards bellying up to the salad bar as I write this.

PATCH:  Ugh! Not a whole lot happening today at the good 'ol Clam Patch. It's grunting and groaning but not a heck of a lot coming through... especially now with this incoming tide. Perhaps later in the day with the tide turn-around. Maybe Elvis will show up and "Do The Clam" for us as well. I'll update later right here if such an occurrence does indeed happen. No one here 'cept clams.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:

LOW: 5:36 am   0.1'
