Daily Surf report - 11/14/2012

Goodmorning to all of you purveyors of aquatic endeavors. It's a classic Northern California sunny fall morning. The current temperature is 56 degrees, which is quite a bit warmer than the previous day. However, the surf isn't classic fall NorCal surf as it's pretty much not in town today. What with this ridiculously high tide and not much of a swell push behind it it's like trying to compete in the X-Games drunk, with a walker and your feet cemented into a wash tub. However, with shifting tides one never knows what could happen next. As they used to say in the early 1960's, "Pray For Surf!"

CHANNEL: Not really anything to talk about here. There is a crumbly speed bump of white water occasionally rolling by over at the Sea Drift side but I can't really polish this turd any better. One custodial board sweeping up over there. I didn't see him wearing an orange vest, so maybe he's not doing the community service thing? Check back when the tide shifts.

PATCH: On days like this the Patch reminds me of my ex-brother-in-law, neither are working. Again, maybe later with the tide change we'll see something work over there...though don't hold your breath for the ex-brother-in-law.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!!
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
